These days Eva Longoria-Parker ( I would never hyphenate my name) is looking doughty on Desperate Housewives. But off screen she still is the sexy firecracker that is always a fashion-do! In the Jan 5th STAR, she was the center of attention in Anne Leman's beautiful amethyst colored Najwa dress. Proof that even the hyphenated can still stop traffic.

I know that the title of this post is cheesy, but I could not resist, since Lady Gaga was spotted around town in Hollywood wearing black halo. So here are my thoughts on this picture. 1. I LOVE Lady Gaga. Her music is fierce and she is a modern day Deborah Harry. 2. Jump suits are HUGE. black halo's jumpsuit is on fire with a great fit and sexy bustier detail. 3. I am not endorsing the "Pebbles" hair do that she is sporting, I have a call out to her hair stylist.

Ok Kids, and you know who you are, waiting for my next post like anxious brats on Christmas Day....well here you go, the first official post of 2009! I know, it is 11 days in, but it was one HELL of a hangover. Now that that our heads are clear I will get you back on track. So lots happening at Joey Showroom: New Designers, new employees, and most exciting, new space. Our 6000 sq ft office in NYC is near completion, and let me tell you, it is looking FIERCE. The showroom is in the Tunnel Building (ie Tunnel Night Club) in West Chelsea Arts district. It has amazing architectual elements like exposed brick and huge beamed ceilings. There is a private elevator that opens into our showroom, which occupies the entire floor. The collections are showcased in individualized areas with original hardwood floors and vintage racks and furniture. There is even a full bar/kitchen for buyers to have a drink while shopping (We know who to have a bottle of wine chilled for before their appointments!) While the official launch will be in February during fashion week and market, here is a sneak peak of our new NYC home.We can not wait to see all of our buyers real soon, and we welcome our new designers to our showroom. So stayed logged on, to see all the exciting new and press, it is going to be an SPECTACULAR year.

Girls just want to wear black halo

Lisa Rinna and gal pal Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon are huge fans of black halo. At the release party for LISA's work out video DANCE BODY BEAUTIFUL, both are sporting black halo looks that show off their curves. Lisa is smashing in the grape Key Hole Ruffle Sheath, and Garcelle rocked the grape Jumpsuit! Lisa, as you know, was a participant on Dancing with the Stars and unforgettable cast member of Beverly Hills 90210. Garcelle was a star of NYPD Blue and former fashion model.
