Renovation Update

I wanted to offer you guys a sneak peek of the renovations happening inside of JoeyShowroomNY! It's coming together quite gorgeously. The new area will house accessories by House of Harlow and Melissa Shoes. It's a trademark chic Joey Showroom area with just the right amount of opulence for everyones sophisticated palettes.

For a small monthly fee you can see inside of and borrow items from your favourite celebrities' closets. The site also specializes in green labels, so of course Melissa Shoes is one of the lines offered! Check it out!

Melissa/Vivienne Collaboration

Good morning fashionistas! Here's an article about the dream team collabouration between Melissa Shoes and Vivienne Westwood. As I'm sure most of you know, Vivienne is world renowned for her ingenious and avant-garde shoe designs. She is a great lover of excess, the ornate and the artificial. Melissa shoe designer Edson Matsuo has a background as an illustrator, graphic designer and cartoonist; as evidenced by his whimsical shoe design embellished with jewel shapes, oversized hearts and uncommonly placed ornamentations. Who knew one could achieve such riveting design pieces through a rubber medium?
PLUS, Melissa shoes are 100% hypoallergenic, odorless, neutral and recyclable. They are made of a special patented plastic called Melflex, which is super durable and comfortable. Melissa also implements socially and ecologically responsible policies for their workers and their company. We think this marriage between the design teams will further result in fabulous yet eco-chic pieces!
