Maisonette 1977

Good Evening darlings! Friday night URGENT UPDATE!

GREAT NEWS!

The gorgeous and talented Natasha Bedingfield just wore a Maisonette 1977 jacket for her appearance at the Victoria's Secret fashion show last night (11/11/10).

She looks gorgeous and loved the jacket so much she has asked us if she can keep it!

Maisonette 1977

What can we say about a line whose looks are featured in not one... not two... but five consecutive lifestyle fashion magazines for the month of October? The answer is plenty. Firstly:

We love Maisonette 1977.

Chinese-Indonesian Jane Ibrahim is Creative Director for Maisonette 1977. With a family history in the textile business, naturally Jane was drawn to the world of fashion aesthetics. She spent her childhood being inspired by foreign fashion magazines and 90's grunge. The inspiration is clearly reflected in the Maisonette girl: She's a rocker, she's chic, she's urban; she's on trend, but the trend is one that she sets. The line is characterized by their mixed fabrications, vibrant use of colour and patterns, and draping techniques that effortlessly flatter the feminine figure. Her pieces are fun and easy. The collection is available now at Joey Showroom; immediate delivery through SS2011.
